Mission of role

The Supply Chain Sr. Manager will lead and optimize the airline supply chain by using data insights, strong system management, and AI‑driven tools to improve provisioning, pricing accuracy, and system integration. Drive performance through clear KPIs and dashboards, strengthen reporting on waste, cost, and resource use, and ensure data integrity and operational efficiency through effective cross‑functional collaboration.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize end‑to‑end airline supply chain operations, ensuring efficient provisioning, cost control, and operational accuracy.
  • Oversee daily data capture and reporting for AI dashboards, including POs, waste metrics, and extra‑order performance.
  • Verify all purchase orders for accuracy, timeliness, and proper supplier confirmation.
  • Drive waste‑reduction initiatives through collaboration with Fresh Food, Production, and Warehouse teams.
  • Analyze ordering accuracy using daily reports to identify issues and improve performance.
  • Investigate extra‑order trends, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support Scorpio system testing, enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Ensure supplier information and cost submittals are accurate and delivered within required timelines for airline cycle changes.
  • Oversee supplier ordering processes to ensure deadlines are met reliably and without exceptions.
  • Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and contract alignment.
  • Prepare operational and supply chain data needed for new station launches, including PDX October start‑up readiness.


Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related industry, particularly in airline catering management 
  • B.S. Degree (e.g. food science, food and nutrition, food technology, biology/ microbiology) with experience in food service or related industry, preferred 
  • ServSafe certification/extensive knowledge of HACCP and OSHA
