Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure materials and supplies are ordered accurately and on schedule.
• Source products and services from vendors with relevant experience while balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Review purchase needs with internal stakeholders and translate business demands into effective procurement actions.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders to maintain continuity of supply and support operational goals.
• Build and maintain productive supplier relationships to improve responsiveness and purchasing outcomes.
• Track order status, resolve delivery or supply issues, and communicate updates to relevant teams.
• Evaluate pricing and purchasing options to identify opportunities for savings and process improvement.
• Experience working in a Buyer or purchasing-focused role.
• Working knowledge of purchasing functions, procurement processes, and material planning.
• Ability to manage multiple purchasing priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and internal departments in a business setting that requires attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for handling vendor interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in reviewing orders, tracking purchasing activity, and maintaining accurate records.
