Supply Chain Specialist

Our oil and gas client is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in a direct hire capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional with strong sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and ERP experience, ideally within a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: Support sourcing and procurement activities, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs Conduct supplier evaluations and quotation analysis Create and manage purchase orders Provide contract support and assist with supplier negotiations Monitor supplier performance related to delivery, quality, pricing, and service Resolve purchasing and supplier-related issues with strong follow-through Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting within the ERP system Leverage Excel for analysis, tracking, and reporting Qualifications: Experience supporting strategic sourcing and procurement functions Strong background in supplier management and issue resolution Proven ability to analyze quotations, support negotiations, and manage purchasing processes Advanced Excel skills Experience working in an ERP system required SAP experience strongly preferred Oil and gas or related industry experience is a plus
