Supply Chain Specialist

Material Planner / Supply Chain Specialist | Leading Utility & Energy Company We’re looking for a Material Planner / Supply Chain Specialist to join a leading Utility & Energy organization supporting large-scale capital projects. If you have experience in material planning, supplier coordination, procurement, inventory management, or utility operations, this is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring materials are available to support safe and efficient project execution. What You'll Do: Serve as the primary point of contact for material planning, supplier coordination, and project material visibility Coordinate material quoting, ordering, expediting, tracking, and delivery forecasting for inventory and non-inventory materials Partner with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, and Inventory teams to support project material requirements Monitor supplier commitments, delivery schedules, and production milestones while proactively mitigating material risks Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics related to supplier delivery, material readiness, quality, and forecast accuracy Support supplier performance reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with warehouse, field operations, and logistics teams to ensure material readiness for construction activities Analyze supplier and material trends to identify risks, improve forecasting accuracy, and reduce project delays What You Bring: 3-7 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, procurement, supplier management, utility operations, or project support environments Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field Experience supporting capital projects within utility, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or construction environments Strong knowledge of supplier coordination, inventory planning, material forecasting, and procurement processes Advanced SAP experience, including SAP Material Management (MM) Experience with Ariba procurement and supplier management systems Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and data management Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and visualization tools preferred Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills 📍 Location: Waltham, MA 02451 (Onsite) 💵 Salary: $54 - $56/hr If you have an interest in the Onsite – Material Planner / Supply Chain Specialist, please apply now!
