ROLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Supply Chain Specialist will possess competency in the following areas to perform the role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. SUMMARY ROLE DESCRIPTIONS: The Supply Chain Specialist ensures all purchase orders are fulfilled on a regular basis. S/he assists with preparation of bidding documents. The Specialist provides customers with utilization information, when needed. The Specialist researches and analyzes supply chain trends Coordinates Material and Equipment Needs for Customers § Ensures all purchase orders are fulfilled on a regular basis Exercises judgment to select and contact appropriate vendors for equipment and material availability and pricing Obtains and evaluates quotes to determine best overall value, then issues purchase orders to the selected vendor Ensures all deliveries are made to the project/field in a timely manner and proactively communicates delivery schedules § Researches and provides needed information to end-user when equipment and materials are unfamiliar to the customer § Acts as a liaison amongst the supply chain team to ensure the timely delivery of all required materials § Maintains positive working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met § Assists in the preparation of all bidding documents, including notice and instructions to bidders, specifications, and form of proposal Provides Business Support for Equipment and Materials § Is responsible for approving invoices and authorizing payments § Analyzes industry and demand trends and supports senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies § Resolves issues and disputes with vendors § Maintains and updates ERP and makes sure data is accurate § Implements procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings, and best practice § Assists with other team members throughout the procurement cycle with forecasting and budgeting § Works cooperatively with other personnel to determine purchasing specifications, sources, availability, pricing, shipping, and receiving Delivers Industry Leading Customer Service § Ensures every customer concern is addressed in a timely manner with a focus on customer satisfaction Education and/or Experience § College degree not required, but preferred with 3-5 years of related experience EOE Disability/Veterans Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience: Microsoft Excel: 4 years (Required) Supply chain: 3 years (Required) Buying/Purchasing/Negotiating: 3 years (Required) Language: Spanish (Preferred) Work Location: In person
