Owens CorningPURPOSE OF THE JOB The Supply Chain Specialist supports the Supply Chain CI Leader in executing continuous improvement, digital-transformation, reporting, and planning-process initiatives across the Doors Supply Chain organization. The role works with Planning, Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, IT, Finance, and Enterprise Supply Chain partners to coordinate project activities, analyze data, document processes, support system deployments, and reinforce standard work. The position helps convert improvement priorities into practical deliverables, including reporting solutions, process maps, training materials, testing support, issue tracking, and implementation follow-through. Success is reflected in disciplined project execution, reliable analysis, effective adoption support, reduced manual effort, stronger process consistency, and timely completion of assigned workstreams. Job Responsibilities Execute continuous improvement workstreams (30%) Support the Supply Chain CI Leader in assessing, prioritizing, and executing process-improvement opportunities across planning, inventory management, customer service, manufacturing, and logistics. Collect and analyze process data, document current-state performance, and assist with root-cause analysis and structured problem solving. Develop and maintain process maps, standard work, control plans, action trackers, and other sustainment documentation. Coordinate assigned improvement actions and follow up with owners to support timely completion and issue resolution. Monitor results and help identify opportunities to improve service, inventory, productivity, planning effectiveness, process consistency, and organizational efficiency. Support digital supply chain transformation (25%) Assist with business deployment and adoption activities related to Kinaxis Maestro, SAP, Snowflake, reporting modernization, analytics, automation, and future digital supply chain capabilities. Support process design, business-readiness assessments, testing, data validation, defect tracking, issue resolution, and implementation planning. Coordinate meetings, actions, dependencies, decisions, and status updates across business, IT, and enterprise transformation teams. Document business requirements, test results, user feedback, risks, and unresolved issues for review by the Supply Chain CI Lead. Provide post-implementation support, track adoption concerns, and help transition new capabilities into sustainable business routines. Develop reporting, analytics, and decision support (20%) Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, recurring reports, and analytical tools that support supply chain decision making. Gather, validate, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities. Automate or streamline manual reporting and data-preparation activities where practical. Translate defined business requirements into clear reports, visualizations, and decision-support materials. Maintain reporting documentation, data definitions, refresh procedures, and quality checks to support accuracy and continuity (15%) Support documentation, training, and change adoption Create and update training materials, user guides, process maps, standard work, operating procedures, and knowledge resources. Coordinate training sessions, workshops, office hours, and user-support activities led by the Supply Chain CI Lead or other subject-matter experts. Support onboarding and capability development for planners and supply chain professionals. Gather user feedback, track adoption barriers, and coordinate follow-up actions to improve usability and compliance. Reinforce data discipline, governance standards, process compliance, and planning best practices through consistent documentation and support (10%) Coordinate projects and governance activities.
