The role You will lead supply chain and operations engagements across assessment, redesign, and implementation. You own the operating-model view of a client's supply chain, size the people, process, and technology gaps across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory, and turn your findings into a defensible story and a prioritized roadmap. This is a client-facing leadership role. You run engagements day to day, manage client stakeholders, and own the quality of the work before it reaches the engagement lead. You bring operations depth to every assessment: network design, cost-to-serve, working capital, and tech enabled process optimization. We work for private equity sponsors, institutional investors, corporate acquirers, and their portfolio companies, as well as corporate operating companies directly. Engagements span M&A-related supply chain diligence and integration, and standalone operational transformation outside a deal context. What you'll do Lead supply chain assessments for acquisition targets, platforms, and standalone operating companies. Validate operational viability, surface risks and liabilities early, and quantify cost takeout and synergy opportunities. Assess the current state across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory. Map processes end to end, flag manual steps, and score functional maturity against peers. Design future-state operating models. Set network footprint, sourcing strategy, inventory policy, spans, layers, decision rights, and headcount for the combined or standalone business. Act as a functional leader in technology transformations related to ERP, WMS, TMS and other business systems that impact supply chain and operations. Bring operations depth to the engagement. Assess S&OP, demand planning, and inventory management, and tie those processes to the financial outcomes they drive. Benchmark against the right peers. Use spend, logistics cost, inventory turns, and headcount benchmarks to build a position clients, buyers, and sellers will underwrite. Lead post-close and post-redesign implementation. Build the Day-1 readiness plan, the transformation roadmap, and the governance model, then support execution. Run the engagement day to day. Manage the timeline, integrate the workstreams, and serve as a primary point of contact for the client. Direct and develop the team. Guide associates and functional specialists, and review their work before it goes out. What you'll bring A strong record leading supply chain and operations …
