Supply Chain Project Manager
ConfidentialOur Values at Gameday Social Grit | We’re hungry, we hustle, we pivot. We’re still at the stage where everyone has to pitch in at the warehouse on occasion. No egos. Pursuing excellence | Getting better every day- moving swiftly when adjustments need to be made. Team orientation | We view our coworkers, customers and vendors as partners. Transparent and cross-functional is how we work. Boldly innovative | We didn’t get here with a “this is how it’s done” mindset. We welcome ideas, creativity and we embrace obstacles as opportunities. Nimble | Our ability to chase trends and move quickly has led to our success, but also means very little is concrete. We aim to preserve this agility as we grow and look for people who can thrive when things are moving quickly. Our Team & Success | Gameday Social is a South Dakota based fashion brand- for women, by women. Founded by Jael Thorpe in 2021, and an officially certified woman-owned company, we aim to “elevate the social fan experience through licensed collaborations.” We have grown rapidly through innovative design, outstanding quality and developing key retailer and licensing relationships across the country. Role Overview You'll own the path from approved design to product in our warehouse, on time and to spec. You'll manage our overseas factory relationships and hold vendors accountable to their commitments on timing, quality and cost. You'll fight for the business every day — anticipating delays, escalating early and solving problems before they reach our customers. You'll lead our purchasing and production support team. Key Responsibilities Vendor management: Own relationships with our international manufacturing partners. Negotiate pricing, payment terms and deposits; enforce vendor agreements, including penalties for missed commitments. Production calendar: Own the time-and-action (T&A) calendar for every order; track milestones and intervene the moment something slips. Sampling: Manage samples against detailed tech packs, keeping development on schedule from first proto to approval. Quality and specs: Hold factories to specifications — fabric content, construction, fit and finish — and resolve quality issues with vendors. Materials and orders: Coordinate fabric commitments and production purchase orders with the product team. Logistics and Project management: Manage freight, customs and inbound shipments, and plan arrivals with the warehouse team. Retailer compliance: Make sure every order meets retailer requirements for UPCs, labeling, packaging and value-added services. Vendor development: Source, vet and onboard new factories as we grow. Reporting: Give leadership clear, proactive updates — what's on track, what's at risk and your plan to fix it. People leadership: Supervise and develop our purchasing and production support staff. Requirements Qualifications 5+ years in apparel sourcing, production or supply chain, with international supply chain experience required. Direct experience managing overseas factories (Asia/South Asia preferred). Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and tech packs. Working knowledge of freight, Incoterms, customs and import processes. Experience with major retailer compliance requirements. A confident, assertive negotiator who holds partners accountable while keeping relationships strong. An owner's mindset: you bring problems with solutions, not just status updates. Experience supervising others. Strong Excel skills; PLM or T&A system experience is a plus.
