Supply Chain/Procurement Associate (Entry Level Role)
AequorMCS Supply Chain Associate Location: New Albany, OH - (Hybrid - 3 days Onsite per week) Duration: 8 Months Contract Assignment Terms: Contract W2 Description: New Albany OH Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week; depending on the business needs. Shift: 9am-5pm local hours Preferred Candidate: Fresh Graduate with right degree Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years relevant experience No more than 3 years of experience. Supply Chain Associate Procurement/Inventory Management Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Procurement of printed and packaging components and raw materials. Place, expedite and/or negotiate orders with suppliers and resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies. Receive, evaluate, and process purchase requisitions for materials and services in compliance with established company policies and procedures. Manage purchase orders, vendor-managed inventory, or other supply agreements, which could include expediting, monitoring, and updating purchase orders. Handle projects with a moderate level of complexity, including special projects to identify cost opportunities and savings. Be innovative when problems arise and find solutions within common business and manufacturing practices. Maintain purchasing documentation to cGMP standards. Ensure audit compliance readiness of purchase orders and related records. Monitor and coordinate returns of goods. Monitoring of Key Performance Indicators Organize, analyze, and communicate metrics and data to highlight operations performance. Respond effectively to crises and resolve issues arising from competing objectives, limited resources, or differing perspectives. Basic Qualifications: High school/GED + 4 years of relevant work experience Or Associate’s + 2 years of relevant work experience OR Bachelor’s + 6 months of relevant work experience Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets: Organized Self Starter Strong communication / follow up skills Day to Day Responsibilities: Issue Purchase Orders Follow up with vendors on open PO's Consolidate trucks to maximize transportation savings
