Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30043 Working arrangement: On-site Start date: Flexible Full-time | Permanent About the opportunity Via is partnering with an established manufacturing business looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to take ownership of supply and demand planning and lead the development of its Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant cross-functional exposure. You'll bring together demand forecasts, production plans, inventory, capacity and financial objectives to create an integrated supply plan and improve decision-making across the business. A major focus will be improving forecast accuracy, optimising inventory and strengthening the systems, reporting and processes that support supply chain planning. What you'll be doing Lead and facilitate the monthly S&OP process Own demand, supply and executive S&OP reviews Consolidate demand forecasts, production plans, inventory and capacity into an integrated supply plan Partner with Sales and Finance to align demand forecasts with financial and volume plans Develop and maintain demand and supply plans across the product portfolio Analyse historical sales, seasonality, customer demand and market trends Improve forecast accuracy and identify changes in demand Monitor inventory and recommend replenishment and safety-stock levels Develop inventory optimisation strategies Identify supply and demand imbalances and develop mitigation plans Support new product launches, promotions, product transitions and phase-outs Balance customer service requirements with inventory and working-capital objectives Track KPIs including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, on-time delivery, fill rate and excess or obsolete inventory Build recurring reports and dashboards for senior leadership Analyse performance trends and identify root causes of supply chain issues Present supply chain performance, risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders Lead improvements to supply chain planning tools and systems Support the evaluation and implementation of new planning and forecasting technology Act as a subject-matter expert for planning systems Partner with IT and external vendors on system enhancements and troubleshooting Identify opportunities to automate planning, reporting and analytical processes Work closely with Procurement to align purchasing with demand Partner with Sales to understand customer commitments and changing demand Support Finance with inventory and volume assumptions for budgeting and forecasting Work with Vendor Management to monitor supplier performance and drive improvements What we're looking for 8–10 years of progressive supply chain experience Strong experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning or a combination of these areas Direct experience leading or playing a significant role in an S&OP process Strong demand forecasting experience Experience developing integrated supply plans Strong understanding of inventory optimisation Experience identifying and resolving supply-demand imbalances Experience developing and analysing supply chain KPIs Experience with ERP, demand planning, forecasting or S&OP systems Experience implementing, upgrading or significantly improving planning tools or systems Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong data analysis capabilities Ability to turn complex data into clear commercial recommendations Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills Experience partnering with Sales, Finance, Procurement and Operations Confidence pres…
