Responsibilities
• Design and implement IBP/S&OP frameworks tailored to life sciences environments
• Lead full IBP cycle including demand review, supply review, portfolio review, and executive S&OP
• Develop demand and supply planning processes considering patient-based forecasting, LOE, batch yield variability, QA release buffers, and CMO/CDMO dynamics
• Translate IBP decisions into short-horizon execution plans, aligning production scheduling and logistics
• Develop multi-echelon inventory strategies accounting for shelf life, retest dating, and regulatory hold periods
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, reduce supply risk, and accelerate planning cycles using AI-enabled tools and digital twins
• Define and track KPIs such as OTIF, forecast accuracy, batch cycle time, and inventory days-on-hand
• Design governance frameworks and operating models integrating commercial, medical affairs, regulatory, quality, and operations
• Build and sustain relationships with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align on priorities and communicate performance
• Proactively identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect patient supply continuity
• Provide data-driven insights through reporting and visualization for senior leaders on strategy, capacity, and network configuration
• Travel for role responsibilities (10-75% depending on client projects)
Key requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain initiatives
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Integrated Planning initiatives
• Experience in Biopharma, Medical Devices/Med xklufbp Tech, CDMO/CMO, or related Life Sciences sectors (5+ years external consulting or 5+ years internal consulting at Manager level)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work)
• Specialization in Planning domains such as IBP/S&OP, demand forecasting, S&OE, or inventory optimization is a plus
• Experience with life sciences planning platforms (OMP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP IBP/S4, o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder) and familiarity with Veeva Vault, SAP ERP, MES/MOM
• Lean or Six Sigma qualifications and data analytics tooling (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx)
