Joining a role facilitated by CR Search Inc. offers candidates a chance to contribute to stable, growth-oriented environments while advancing their careers in a structured and supportive setting The Supply Chain Planner will provide operational support for outsourced manufacturing) activities, ensuring continuity of day-to-day execution while maintaining product flow, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment. This position is highly execution-focused and will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, processing manufacturing paperwork, resolving Delivery Order (DO) and PGI issues, monitoring inventory transactions, and supporting communication between external manufacturers and internal stakeholders. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a 4-6 month contract position, hybrid work (3 days onsite) in Libertyville, IL. Key Responsibilities Execute daily operational activities related to external manufacturing partners. Coordinate production schedules with toll manufacturers. Monitor manufacturing progress and communicate schedule changes. Track production status and escalate execution risks. Create, monitor and execute stock transfers to different toller locations Paperwork & Documentation Review and process production paperwork received from toll manufacturers. Validate production reports, batch records, inventory transactions, and material consumption. Ensure manufacturing documentation is complete and aligned with SAP transactions. Coordinate corrections when discrepancies are identified. Delivery Orders (DO) & PGI Support Support resolution of PGI (Post Goods Issue) issues and transaction failures. Coordinate with Logistics, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to resolve shipment issues. Track open DOs and ensure timely execution. Inventory, ERP & SAP Transaction and Governance Support inventory movements related to toll manufacturing. Validate inventory balances and identify discrepancies. Assist with inventory reconciliations. Execute and oversee SAP transactions related to subcontract manufacturing, including: Subcontract purchase orders, Goods receipts, Consumption postings, Finished goods receipts, Inventory transfers, and Variance analysis Operational Coordination Act as the primary operational contact between internal planning teams and external manufacturers. Coordinate daily priorities with Logistics, Customer Service, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality. Follow up on pending actions to minimize production delays. Maintain operational trackers and execution reports. Monitor key operational KPIs including: Open Dos, PGI backlog, Production schedule adherence, Paperwork completion, Goods Receipt timelines Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, operations, or related field (preferred). 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, or Planning. Experience with SAP ERP is essential. Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
