Supply Chain Planner

Job title: Planner Location: Milwaukie, OR Duration: Contract-to-Hire Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon–Thurs, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (4×10s) Requirement: SAP experience required Summary: Responsible for production and materials planning to meet customer delivery requirements, optimize inventory, and ensure smooth shop-floor operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage production planning, scheduling, and shop-order releases. Adjust planning parameters, inventory buffers, and work orders. Monitor inventory levels and resolve planning exceptions. Identify and resolve SAP-related planning and inventory issues. Lead Forecast-to-Build processes and collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production. Level-load schedules based on demand and capacity. Drive planning/supply-chain improvements using Excel and action plans. Implement and maintain Kanban, Min-Max, and other non-MRP planning methods. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials, Engineering, or related field. 1–3 years of production/materials planning or scheduling experience. SAP/MRP experience required; manufacturing systems knowledge preferred. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Lean Six Sigma experience preferred; APICS certification a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
