Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find an experienced Supply Planning and Procurement professional to support a leading global technology organization’s supply chain operations. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in supply planning, procurement, purchase order management, inventory, and OEM/vendor coordination . The successful candidate will be analytical, organized, and comfortable managing supply requirements, customer backlogs, purchase orders, material shortages, and supplier commitments in a fast-paced environment. Role Summary The Supply Planner IV will support service supply planning and procurement activities, including supply and demand planning, backlog management, PO execution, inventory management, and supplier coordination . The role will work closely with OEMs, suppliers, warehouse teams, planning teams, finance partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure material availability and timely fulfillment. Key Responsibilities Manage customer backlog and provide recovery dates based on supply plans and OEM commitments. Analyze new-buy and repair supply requirements and identify potential supply gaps. Create and manage purchase orders , including past-due POs, quantity changes, pricing, and supplier expediting. Maintain planning parameters and support weekly Master Production Schedule (MPS) activities with OEMs. Monitor inventory levels and material availability , proactively resolving shortages and supply constraints. Work with suppliers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping, scheduling, backlog, and fulfillment issues . Manage PO receipt escalations, substitution requests, and other backlog-related activities . Investigate and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies in partnership with finance teams. Coordinate OEM and broker component orders , ensuring accurate processing and execution. Must-Have Qualifications 5+ years of experience in supply planning, procurement, materials planning, or supply chain operations. Hands-on experience with purchase order management and supplier/OEM coordination . Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, material requirements, and backlog management . Experience handling material shortages, supply constraints, recovery dates, and supplier escalations . Experience with MPS/MRP, ERP, or supply planning systems . Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to manage multiple supply chain priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in service supply planning, repair/new-buy planning, or aftermarket supply chain . Experience working with OEMs, contract manufacturers, or technology/electronics supply chains . Experience with warehouse/inventory operations and supplier financial reconciliation. Familiarity with tools such as Wrike, SEMS, or similar supply-chain workflow systems . Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Top Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in supply planning and procurement , particularly PO management, OEM/vendor coordination, inventory planning, backlog recovery, and material shortage resolution . Candidates who can independently manage supplier commitments and translate supply requirements into actionable recovery plans will be well aligned with the role. Compensation A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $70/hr on W2 .
