Company

Sixone’s mission is to enable a world where blended plastics products can be circularly recycled back into existing supply chains instead of being sent to landfill. Sixone is a leading technology startup company developing advanced recycling technologies for blended plastics and plastic-based products. The technology applies process digitalization and advanced analytics to build a recycling system to enable efficient plastics recycling. Our goal is to revolutionize the economics of recycled materials through innovative processing and materials technologies.

Sixone is looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Specialist to own the execution of our core operational systems and workflows. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations and is responsible for bringing operational plans to life — managing our ERP, supply chain, logistics, and inventory functions day-to-day and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

You'll be the person who makes things happen. The Senior Manager sets the strategy and priorities; you own the execution, keep stakeholders aligned, and build the processes that make our operations reliable and scalable. This is a great fit for someone who's highly organized, comfortable working across teams, and energized by turning plans into results.

What You'll Own

ERP Management

  • Day-to-day ownership of Sixone's ERP system — data accuracy, team adoption, and ongoing maintenance

  • Ensure the ERP reflects current workflows and serves as the operational source of truth

  • Flag issues and surface improvement opportunities to the Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations

Supply Chain & Logistics

  • Execute on supply chain and logistics plans in coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders

  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, track lead times, and proactively communicate delays

  • Manage logistics partner relationships and hold them accountable to SLAs

  • Consolidate supply chain responsibilities currently distributed across the team into one accountable function

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records

  • Implement and uphold processes to minimize discrepancies, write-offs, and stock-outs

  • Coordinate with relevant team members on replenishment cycles and demand inputs

Feedstock Management

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of incoming feedstock — from receiving and storage through to labelling, tracking, and conversion into TPA

  • Maintain accurate records of feedstock volumes, locations, and status at every stage of the process

  • Coordinate outbound shipments of TPA to polymerization partners and other recipients, ensuring documentation and handoffs are airtight

Product Tracking & Quality Records

  • Track and regularly document all TPA produced — quantities, destinations, quality metrics, and any other relevant product information

  • Maintain a clear, accessible record of where product is sent and ensure all quality assurance data is captured and filed

  • Build and maintain reporting that gives the business real-time visibility into output and product status

Production & Business Development Support

  • Partner with the production team to manage and maintain the production schedule, including tracking capacity and anticipated output on a regular cadence

  • Proactively communicate feedstock needs and product output forecasts to the business development team so they can plan sales activity accordingly

  • Flag supply or capacity constraints early to prevent downstream surprises across production and commercial teams

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the operational point of contact across teams working on supply chain, logistics, and inventory

  • Identify workflow friction (e.g., data handoffs, recyclability testing processes) and work with the Senior Manager to resolve it

  • Keep cross-functional workflows moving and stakeholders informed

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or a related function — ideally at a product-based company

  • Experience working within an ERP system (NetSuite, Cin7, Fishbowl, or similar); ownership experience a strong plus

  • A strong executor: you follow through, document what you build, and close loops

  • Organized and detail-oriented — you catch things before they become problems

  • A collaborative communicator who can work effectively across functions without direct authority

  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where not everything is defined yet

  • Based in Vancouver, BC or willing to relocate

Nice to Have

  • Experience in consumer goods, sustainability, or manufacturing

  • Familiarity with 3PL management and freight logistics

  • APICS CPIM/CSCP or equivalent certification

  • Experience at a scaling startup or small tea
