Supply Chain Operations Specialist

About the Job: Akkodis is seeking an ERP Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations Specialist for a 6-month contract opportunity in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP-enabled manufacturing or supply chain operations, including manufacturing master data, BOMs, part setup, production planning, inventory, procurement, and ERP/PLM data integration. Pay Range: $45/hr. – $49/hr. (The pay rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Key Responsibilities: • Create and maintain item masters, part records, product structures, manufacturing BOMs, and BOM versions in Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP platform • Set up and release new parts with the required planning, inventory, procurement, and manufacturing attributes • Process approved part revisions and maintain component quantities, effectivity, alternates/substitutes, and site-specific ERP records • Align eBOMs with mBOMs and verify accuracy across PLM, engineering documentation, and ERP records • Maintain or support routings, operations, work centers, production parameters, MRP settings, lead times, safety stock, and make-buy data • Review released drawings, specifications, and change orders before creating or revising ERP records • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and IT to resolve missing or conflicting data • Perform data validation, reconciliation, ERP transaction testing, production-order dry runs, and manufacturing-readiness checks • Resolve BOM, part, revision, planning, inventory, and manufacturing-transaction issues • Maintain supporting documentation, issue trackers, approvals, and status updates • Identify and escalate risks that may affect manufacturing or supply chain readiness Required Skills: • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP platform in a manufacturing or supply chain environment • Experience creating and maintaining item/part masters, BOMs, BOM versions, component data, and manufacturing master data • Experience with new-part setup, part release, revisions, lifecycle/status changes, and ERP readiness • Working knowledge of eBOM-to-mBOM alignment, routings/operations, work centers, production orders, and material consumption • Understanding of procurement, inventory, warehouse transactions, MRP, production planning, supplier data, and order fulfillment • Ability to interpret released engineering drawings, specifications, and change orders and translate them into accurate ERP master data • Experience validating PLM-to-ERP data and resolving discrepancies • Strong Excel skills • Strong attention to data accuracy, traceability, documentation, and controlled change execution Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in regulated manufacturing or medical-device manufacturing • Experience with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management • Experience with ERP/PLM integration • Experience with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards/JDE, or NetSuite • Experience with data migration, data reconciliation, or system dry runs • Experience working with BOMs, routing, operations, work centers, MRP, inventory, and production planning If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW .
