ackbone of our promise to customers. We're looking for a Supply Chain Operations Manager who will own that promise end to end: sourcing, planning, and delivering with the precision our ISO 9001 certification demands and our customers expect.
What You'll Accomplish
• Within 90 days, map our full supply chain — suppliers, lead times, inventory positions, and risk points — and deliver a prioritized improvement roadmap to leadership.
• Build a demand planning and S&OP process that aligns sales forecasts with production schedules, improving forecast accuracy and reducing expedite costs within the first year.
• Reduce component lead-time risk by qualifying secondary sources for critical electronic and mechanical components, targeting dual-source coverage on our top-risk parts.
• Optimize inventory levels to improve turns while maintaining on-time delivery above 95% — balancing cash efficiency against the availability our customers rely on.
• Negotiate supplier agreements that deliver measurable cost savings on annual direct material spend without compromising quality or continuity.
• Strengthen supplier quality performance in partnership with our Quality team, driving corrective actions and scorecard reviews that support our ISO 9001 system.
• Lead and develop the planning, purchasing, and logistics team, establishing clear KPIs and a cadence of continuous improvement.
Environment & Resources
You'll report to executive leadership and work steps away from our engineering, production, and quality teams — all under one roof in Foothill Ranch. You'll manage a small, capable team spanning purchasing, planning, and logistics, with direct access to R&D and manufacturing leadership. At a company of our size, your decisions move fast and your impact is visible immediately.
What You Bring
• 5+ years leading supply chain, procurement, or operations in electronics or industrial hardware manufacturing.
• Proven results reducing costs and lead times while sustaining high on-time delivery in a low-to-mid-volume, high-mix environment.
• Hands-on experience with electronic component sourcing, including navigating allocation and obsolescence challenges.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and demand planning; you build the process, not just run it.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and supplier quality management.
• A builder's mindset — comfortable being strategic and hands-on in equal measure.
