Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality & Manufacturing Engineering Position Summary At Solenis, our internship program provides students with meaningful hands-on experience that goes beyond traditional summer work. Interns are assigned real projects that support manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while working alongside experienced professionals. This program is designed to help students apply classroom learning to real-world challenges, develop practical technical skills, and gain exposure to manufacturing operations in a global specialty chemical company. What You'll Do Support safety, quality, productivity, and reliability initiatives. Assist with process improvement and engineering projects. Analyze operational and production data to identify improvement opportunities. Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities. Support capital projects, maintenance initiatives, and operational excellence efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain. Present project results and recommendations to site leadership. Areas of Opportunity Assignments May Include Process Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Project Engineering Reliability & Maintenance Automation & Process Control Quality Systems Continuous Improvement Supply Chain & Operations Support Qualifications Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum GPA of 3.0. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Legal authorization to work in the United States.
