Analyze transportation, warehousing, storage, handling, and accessorial costs; recommend and implement solutions to reduce total supply chain costs. Negotiate competitive rates and service terms with carriers, brokers, warehouses, and other logistics vendors. Plan loads, consolidate shipments, and optimize routes and warehouse utilization while protecting product quality and customer service. Coordinate international freight requirements and documentation with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other partners. Track vendor performance and key metrics, including on-time delivery, freight cost, inventory accuracy, temperature compliance, and claims. Review freight and warehouse invoices for accuracy and resolve billing discrepancies. Develop and improve logistics procedures, reporting, and contingency plans. Qualifications Proven experience managing frozen or temperature-controlled transportation and warehousing. Strong understanding of cold-chain operations, including refrigerated equipment, temperature monitoring, frozen storage, and product handling. Proficiency with Excel and experience using transportation, warehouse, or enterprise resource planning systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience in frozen food distribution, manufacturing, or a similar cold-chain environment. Familiarity with international shipping documentation, customs clearance coordination, and cross-border freight. Experience managing freight claims, carrier performance, and third-party logistics providers.
