Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day supply chain operations, including purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory management, and logistics. This role will focus on establishing clear, repeatable processes that support operational reliability and scalability.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and execution-oriented, with the ability to build structure and documentation in a growing operational environment. This role will play a key part in formalizing supply chain processes and building the operational foundation required to support continued growth. The individual will work closely with operations, production, finance, and vendors to ensure materials and services are available when needed, costs are controlled, and supply chain activities are well documented and consistently executed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day supply chain operations, including purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Develop and document supply chain processes, procedures, and standard operating practices to improve consistency and operational discipline.
  • Build and maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, and inventory records within the company’s ERP system.
  • Monitor inventory levels and purchasing requirements to ensure materials are available to support production schedules.
  • Coordinate with operations and production teams to align purchasing and inventory activities with manufacturing demand.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliable delivery, quality performance, and appropriate pricing.
  • Track and analyze key operational metrics related to purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance.
  • Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and implement practical improvements.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of ERP and supply chain management tools.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding, contract administration, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Ensure supply chain activities comply with applicable regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations management.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or operations-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and document operational processes and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with ERP or supply chain management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement experience is a plus.
