We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead supply chain operations at our Hamilton, Ohio manufacturing facility. This position requires direct experience in the corrugated packaging industry, a strong background in production planning and scheduling, and demonstrated proficiency with SAP and ERP systems. This is a fully on-site leadership position. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our Hamilton, Ohio facility. POSITION SUMMARY The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain functions within a fast-paced corrugated packaging manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive knowledge of corrugated manufacturing processes, production planning, scheduling, inventory management, material availability, logistics, and customer delivery performance. Production planning and scheduling expertise is a critical requirement for this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to translate customer demand into executable production schedules while balancing manufacturing capacity, raw material availability, operational efficiency, inventory levels, and customer service expectations. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with Production, Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Maintenance, Finance, and Quality to ensure efficient material flow, accurate production planning, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of corrugated manufacturing, including corrugator scheduling, converting operations, production sequencing, and the impact of planning decisions on overall plant performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Production Planning & Scheduling – PRIMARY FOCUS Lead and manage all production planning and scheduling activities for the Hamilton manufacturing facility. Develop, implement, and continuously improve production schedules for corrugator and converting operations. Translate customer orders and forecasts into efficient, executable manufacturing plans. Optimize production sequencing to maximize equipment utilization, reduce downtime, minimize waste, and improve overall plant productivity. Coordinate production planning across corrugator, converting, and finishing operations to maintain consistent material flow. Balance customer demand, production capacity, raw material availability, and delivery requirements. Proactively identify capacity constraints, scheduling conflicts, and potential production delays. Partner with Production leadership to improve schedule adherence, equipment utilization, and overall operational efficiency. Monitor and adjust schedules in response to changes in customer demand, equipment availability, and production performance. Establish effective short-term and long-term capacity planning processes. Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary changeovers, excess work-in-process inventory, and inefficient production runs. Ensure production planning decisions support cost efficiency, service performance, and profitability. 2. SAP & ERP Systems Management Utilize SAP and other ERP systems to manage production planning, material requirements, inventory, purchasing, and order fulfillment.
