Supply Chain Manager
Insight GlobalJob Overview We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain performance across inventory, planning, customer service, and operational execution for a large manufacturing client in a fully remote capacity. This individual will own supply planning activities, drive SIOP/S&OP processes, manage inventory health, and ensure strong service levels through cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Procurement, Quality, Warehousing, and Commercial teams. Key Responsibilities: Own supply planning and inventory performance across a 0-24 month planning horizon. Drive SIOP/S&OP and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes. Manage inventory levels, inventory health, and working capital objectives. Ensure customer service targets (OTIF) are achieved and lead corrective actions when performance falls short. Support capacity planning, production planning, and MRP execution. Partner with internal stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy, supply continuity, and operational efficiency. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on people, processes, systems, and supply chain performance. Manage and develop Supply Chain team members while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. Success Measures: Inventory optimization and inventory health. On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance. Supply plan execution and service levels. Supply chain process improvement and operational efficiency. Team performance and capability development. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, materials management, sourcing, purchasing, or operations within a managerial/leadership capacity. Experience managing teams of 5+ direct reports. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and strong Microsoft Office skills. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications Chemical manufacturing experience. APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification (or willingness to obtain). Compensation $130,000 to $160,000 annually. This is an estimated range and exact compensation will vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
