Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Job Type: Full-time; On-site Responsibilities: MRP/MPS Planning and Scheduling Manage and continuously improve the company's MRP and MPS processes within Sage X3. This role is the primary business owner of the Sage X3 MRP/MPS functionality Ensure that customer demand, forecasts, sales orders, inventory, open purchase orders, production orders, and capacity are properly reflected in the planning system. OTIF will be the primary Metric for this. Develop and maintain effective master production scheduling processes that balance customer requirements, available capacity, material availability, and operational priorities. Support efficient scheduling of aerosol filling, assembly, packaging, and other manufacturing operations. Establish appropriate planning rules for both make-to-stock and make-to-order products. Purchasing and Material Management Work with corporate Purchasing to establish appropriate purchasing parameters and supplier lead times. Identify excess and obsolete inventory and work with Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to develop appropriate actions. Improve inventory accuracy and planning effectiveness through better system data and processes for cycle counting, inventory movements, and work order closures. Institute supplier evaluations to determine the reliability of delivery and work to improve the same. Manage of the off-site inventory held at a 3PL facility. Oversee and manager bulk chemical inventory in bulk storage. Shipping Department Leadership Ensure local resources, training and processes are available and implemented leading to the efficient operation of the Shipping department. Minimize the amount and value of finished goods inventory held on-site. Enable and track metrics to the same. Experience: Required Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, materials management, production scheduling, supply chain, or a related function. Strong working knowledge of MRP and MPS concepts and processes in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze large amounts of operational data. Ability to work effectively with both office personnel and manufacturing-floor personnel. Preferred Direct experience with Sage X3. Experience in aerosol, chemical, packaging, filling, or other high-volume manufacturing environments. Experience managing ERP/MRP system implementations or major process improvements. Experience with multi-site manufacturing operations. Experience developing production planning and supply chain performance metrics. Experience working with automated manufacturing and multiple production lines with frequent changeovers.
