Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager manages the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. They implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and lead coordination activities with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions. The Supply Chain Manager resolves bottlenecks or problem areas in the supply chain and monitors suppliers and service providers for quality and performance. Responsibilities: Secure the materials and supplies the company needs to complete essential business functions. Manage the flow of goods, resources, and information in the supply chain to ensure effective operations and achievement of organizational goals and KPIs. Implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. Design purchasing strategies that ensure constant availability of inventory within budget. Lead coordination activities with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to streamline processes and enhance collaboration. Identify and resolve bottlenecks or problem areas in the supply chain to maintain smooth operations. Daily monitoring of inventory levels and project which items and materials need to be replenished. Monitor suppliers and service providers for quality and performance, and take corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement best practices in supply chain management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field. 5 years of experience in a related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years of supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of supply chain management function and department processes. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Proficiency in supply chain management/procurement software and tools. Ability to manage time and organize priorities.
