BlueSky Utility - Powered by Nofar EnergyPosition Summary Blue Sky Utility is seeking a highly capable and proactive Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, logistics, vendor management, and material planning across our growing portfolio of utility-scale solar, battery energy storage (BESS), and data center power infrastructure projects. This role is critical to ensuring that equipment, materials, and services are sourced strategically, delivered on time, compliant with U.S. trade and tax credit requirements, and managed cost-effectively to support project execution nationwide. The ideal candidate is hands-on, commercially sharp, operationally disciplined, and experienced in managing complex supply chains utility-scale solar, BESS, and power infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Lead sourcing and procurement of major equipment including solar modules, inverters/PCS, main power, transformers,MV/HV switchgear and breakers, BESS equipment, trackers, racking, and balance-of-plant materials Lead EPC contractor selection and negotiate EPC contractor for turnkey projects. including scope, pricing, schedule, liquidated damages, performance guarantees, and security Negotiate equipment supply agreements (TSAs), BESS long-term service agreements (LTSAs), pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial terms with vendors and suppliers Build and maintain preferred vendor relationships to support long-term growth Identify alternate suppliers and contingency strategies to reduce risk Monitor market conditions, tariffs, pricing trends, and supply constraints impacting the solar and storage sectors, adjust regulatory requirements Manage supply chain regulatory and trade compliance, including FEOC / prohibited foreign entity restrictions, domestic content requirements, UFLPA traceability, AD/CVD and Section 201/301 tariffs, and tax credit safe harbor documentation Secure long-lead high-voltage equipment (main power transformers, breakers, switchgear) early in the development cycle to protect project schedules Logistics & Inventory Management Oversee transportation, warehousing, and delivery schedules for Owner-Furnished Equipment (OFE), including domestic and international shipments Coordinate material flow to multiple project sites across various states Track inventory levels, shortages, overages, and critical path items Implement systems for receiving, storage, and field material controls Project Support & Cross Functional Partnership Partner closely with Engineering, Project Delivery, Construction, Finance, and Development teams to align procurement with project schedules Support project budgets through cost forecasting and purchasing discipline Participate in project kickoff and execution meetings to identify material needs and schedule risks Ensure purchase orders and vendor commitments align with project milestones Vendor Performance, Quality & Compliance Manage supplier scorecards, KPIs, and service levels Resolve delivery delays, quality concerns, claims, shortages, and commercial disputes Oversee supplier quality assurance, including factory audits, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and third-party inspections Develop mitigation plans for supply disruptions and long lead equipment Process Improvement & Systems Establish scalable procurement and supply chain processes as the company grows Improve reporting, spend visibility, forecasting, and internal controls Utilize ERP, procurement, and project management systems to drive efficiency Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field 7+ years of supply chain, procurement, or sourcing leadership experience Procurement experience in utility-scale solar, BESS, or power infrastructure projects Strong contract negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills Experience negotiating EPC contracts and equipment supply agreements (TSAs/LTSAs) Proven ability to manage multipl…
