SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the timely production and delivery of high-quality aerospace components and systems. This role involves strategizing and optimizing procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships while adhering to industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements. Reports to the Operations Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies tailored to meet the unique demands of Aerospace and Manufacturing sectors
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, components, and services necessary for aerospace manufacturing
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Maintain Approved Suppliers List
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with Karman quality policies. Help develop KPIs for suppliers to track to
  • Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory
  • Prepare reports on supply chain metrics, trends, and forecasts for management
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Supervise and mentor Supply Chain staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability
  • Ensure Processes and Procedures are well documented and followed
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on supply chain operations, challenges, and opportunities for improvement

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in aerospace and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace industry regulations (AS9100, NADCAP, ISO9001) and quality assurance standards.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (ERP systems, MRP systems).
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Knowledge of global supply chain practices and regulations specific to the aerospace industry
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen 

ITAR REQUIREMENTS
