Position Summary: This position is responsible for leading our supply chain operations, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position will oversee procurement, logistics, inventory managment, and demand planning, ensuring seamless coordination across departments. Essential Functions: · Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals. · Oversee logistics and inventory managment to optimize stock levels, reduce costs and improve delivery times. · Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Navision and other supply chain analytic tools to monitor performance metrics. · Conduct demand forecasting analysis and inventory demand planning to ensure optimal inventory levels. · Implement and maintain MRP systems for production planning and inventory control. · Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to streamline operations. · Perform root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions and develop corrective action plans. · Manage project timelines related to supply chain optimization projects while leading a team. · Manage the vendor evaluation process · Negotiate pricing and terms with all vendors and set guidelines so that the purchasing team has a clear understanding of purchasing paramaters and processes as negotiated and required Required Education & Experience: · Bachelor degree required · 5+ years of purchasing experience required. · Proven experience as a manager required. · Previous experience with Automotive Manufacturing preferred. · Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of supply chain management principles including inventory control, forecasting, procurement, logistics, and manufacturing integration. · Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning systems required. · Must be highly motivated and able to work indepenently. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required. · Excellent attention to detail, and communication and organizational skills are a must. · Previous experience with production required.
