A Brief Overview The Supply Chain Manager directs the site supply chain function, including purchasing, production planning and scheduling, inventory management, material readiness, project management, and the customer service/customer experience interface as applicable by site structure. Develops and implements strategies to align materials, capacity, production plans, inventory, and customer requirements with site operating objectives. Utilizes ERP/MRP systems, data monitoring, analytics, and cross-functional planning processes to drive schedule attainment, inventory optimization, service performance, working capital, and overall site execution. What you will do Oversee site Supply Chain activities including purchasing, production planning and scheduling, inventory management, material readiness, and project management. Ensure alignment of materials, capacity, production requirements, and inventory to support execution of the site production plan. Lead site production planning and scheduling execution using ERP/MRP tools, demand requirements, inventory availability, capacity constraints, customer priorities, and established planning standards. Partner with functional Supply Chain Planning leadership, where applicable, to implement common planning processes, governance, and best practices while maintaining accountability for site execution. Provide leadership and oversight for site Purchasing, including material availability, supplier execution, purchasing priorities, inventory investment, supplier performance, shortage escalation, and coordination with Corporate Procurement. Ensure Purchasing priorities remain aligned with the production schedule, customer requirements, inventory objectives, and working-capital goals. Oversee and/or partner with Customer Service/Customer Experience teams, as applicable by site organizational model, to ensure effective order management, issue resolution, customer communication, and service performance. Maintain alignment between customer requirements and site Planning, Scheduling, Purchasing, Project Management, and Operations. Monitor key service metrics including On-Time In-Full (OTIF). Provide leadership and oversight for site Project Management activities, where assigned, ensuring new product launches, customer changes, material readiness, timelines, and cross-functional execution are effectively coordinated through commercialization and production startup. Plan and control budgeted expenses within the Supply Chain organization, ensuring alignment with financial goals. Support the annual budgeting process, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to improve cost, inventory, and working capital.
