Supply Chain & Inventory Supervisor Location: Streetsboro, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Manufacturing & Distribution Compensation: Based on experience This is a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM position. About the Position We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Supply Chain & Inventory Supervisor to oversee and coordinate purchasing, inventory control, production planning support, product setup, and shipping activities in a manufacturing and distribution environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how purchasing, inventory, production, and fulfillment work together. The ideal candidate takes ownership of processes, maintains accurate records, resolves operational issues, and works collaboratively across departments to keep operations running smoothly. The primary focus is operational execution and process coordination rather than direct employee management. Key Responsibilities Purchasing & Vendor Management: Obtain quotes, place purchase orders, monitor deliveries, communicate with suppliers, resolve pricing and invoice discrepancies, and coordinate incoming materials. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, process inventory adjustments, and maintain accurate records for raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods. Production Coordination: Open, update, track, and close production jobs; monitor material availability; maintain production schedules and records; and coordinate with Production and Quality Control. Product Setup & Data Management: Create new product records, SKUs, and bills of materials (BOMs); maintain product pricing, labels, warehouse locations, and accurate product data across business systems. Shipping & Fulfillment: Coordinate Amazon FBA shipments, carrier pickups, shipping documentation, product labeling, inventory transfers, and customer order fulfillment. Process Improvement: Work with Warehouse, Production, Quality Control, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve issues, improve workflows, and ensure accurate, timely transactions. Required Qualifications Previous supervisory experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory control, materials management, or manufacturing operations. Experience coordinating purchasing, inventory, and material requirements in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong understanding of purchase orders, vendor management, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution. Proficiency in Google Suite and business software systems. Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with a high level of accuracy and accountability. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP or inventory management systems. Familiarity with SKUs, BOMs, batch tracking, production jobs, and new product setup. Experience with Cin7, Shopify, ShipStation, Amazon Seller Central, Trello, GS1, or similar platforms. Experience with Amazon FBA fulfillment and third-party logistics. Background in a small or midsize manufacturing company requiring hands-on, cross-functional coordination.
