Timeframe: Summer 2027, approximately 12 weeks Schedule: Monday – Friday, regular business hours The Supply Chain Intern supports day-to-day supply chain operations at Select Custom Solutions while gaining practical experience across key functional areas, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning. Working closely with the Supply Chain team and cross-functional partners, this role assists with supply chain activities, data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and special projects that support operational efficiency and business needs. This internship provides exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes within a food and beverage manufacturing environment while developing foundational knowledge of supply chain systems, processes, and best practices. Job Duties: Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to support supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization. Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock. Procurement Support: Help with supplier communications, order placement, and tracking of purchase orders. Logistics Coordination: Support the logistics team in coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving transportation issues. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices. Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on supply chain performance metrics, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and delivery times. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments, including production, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Protocol. Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs.
