Supply Chain Finance Manager

Oversee product cost standard setting, daily product costing, and monthly cost center spending and inventory analysis. Identify and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and customer service while developing KPIs and leveraging advanced data analytics to drive decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities. Facilitate clear communication with internal departments and external partners, manage special projects, and collaborate with cross-functional Directors to ensure robust support from the manufacturing accounting staff. Support the implementation of accounting policies, train plant accounting personnel, and enhance internal controls in cooperation with the Internal Audit department. Maintain secure control of accounting documentation and review staffing levels to ensure optimal resource allocation for achieving organizational objectives. What you'll need... Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance with 10 years of experience in accounting or finance Demonstrated experience providing financial consultation to transportation and distribution organizations with an emphasis on cost saving analysis and recommendations Three (3) years of supervisory experience required with strong leadership and management skills Experience in assisting with development of financial justifications for capital expenditures and performance improvement projects Experience with query, reporting, and data analysis tools Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal customers Proven analytical problem solver with strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop new ideas and solutions Excels in leading a team environment, leading towards the common goal of the department as a whole Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment Prefer a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) or Certified Management Accountant (“CMA”) Prefer SAP experience If you’re ready to make an impact and drive financial excellence, apply now to become a part of our dedicated team at Dart Container!
