Supply Chain & Electrical Distribution Associate Role Overview We are seeking a proactive, safety-focused Supply Chain & Electrical Distribution Associate to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will manage essential warehouse workflows—including receiving, inventory staging, order fulfillment, and outbound staging—while serving as a brand ambassador executing local customer deliveries using company fleet vehicles. This position offers hands-on operational training and a clear pathway for professional advancement into logistics coordination, inventory control, and possibly inside sales. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Fulfillment: Receive, inspect, log, and stock incoming shipments accurately. Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders while maintaining an organized, lean, and secure warehouse layout. Order Quality & Accuracy: Cross-reference shipping tickets and bills of lading against physical inventory to ensure 100% order accuracy prior to dispatch or staging. Local Customer Delivery: Safely operate company vehicles to execute scheduled, on-time deliveries to local client sites while providing professional, courteous customer service. Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and electric pallet jacks, adhering strictly to facility standards. Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Comply with OSHA regulations, Department of Transportation (DOT) driving standards, and company health and safety procedures at all times. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required and an associate’s degree preferred. Prior warehouse, logistics, or delivery driving experience is an asset, but motivated entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply. Driving Credentials: Active, valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a minimum of three (3) consecutive years of licensed driving experience. Equipment Certification: Willingness and capability to obtain and maintain in-house equipment operator certifications (forklift, pallet jack). Skills & Competencies: Strong functional literacy and basic math skills for bill-of-materials verification; basic computer literacy for inventory scanning/data entry; strong time-management and communication skills. Physical Demands & Work Environment Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and climb throughout a 9-hour shift. Lifting Capacity: Regularly lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and up to 75 lbs. with team assistance or mechanical equipment. Visual & Spatial Acuity: Adequate visual acuity for order scanning, safe material handling, and defensive road navigation. Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment with exposure to seasonal warehouse temperatures, local weather conditions during deliveries, and standard industrial noise.
