Legacy Recruiting Group, LLCDirector of Supply Chain Status: Exempt | Location: Corporate – Santa Clarita, CA Supervises: Warehouse, Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Sourcing Role Overview The Director of Supply Chain provides end-to-end operational leadership across Demand & Supply Planning, S&OP, Purchasing, Sourcing, Warehousing, and Customer Service. This role drives inventory optimization, reduces total delivered cost, and scales systems to support rapid omnichannel growth across Amazon/eCommerce, FDM, Specialty Retail, White Label, and DTC channels. Key Responsibilities Executive Leadership & S&OP: Lead end-to-end supply chain functions, mentor team leads, and own the S&OP process to align sales demand with manufacturing and inventory targets. Planning & Systems: Drive forecast accuracy, maintain ideal safety stock levels, and leverage NetSuite (ERP) to optimize planning, purchasing, and order fulfillment. Warehouse & Logistics: Oversee domestic distribution, 3PL relationships, inbound/outbound freight, carrier negotiations, and international customs compliance. Purchasing & NPD Sourcing: Lead procurement strategies, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage raw material/packaging sourcing (bottles, pumps, tubes) for New Product Development. Performance & Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean methodologies to improve cash conversion cycles, lower working capital, and maintain high OTIF (On-Time In-Full) fulfillment standards. Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience in CPG, health & wellness, or personal care (5+ years in a direct leadership role). Channel Expertise: Proven track record managing multi-channel distribution (eCommerce/Amazon, FDM, Retail, DTC). Technical Skills: Strong background in S&OP implementation, demand forecasting, ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), NPD component sourcing, and Lean/CI principles. Education: BA/BS in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business (MBA preferred). Travel: Willingness to travel up to 15%–25%.
