Title: Director of Supply Chain Department: Operations / Supply Chain Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across procurement, sourcing, supplier management, materials, inventory, warehousing, and logistics . This leader will support operational continuity, customer commitments, cost objectives, working capital, and supplier reliability across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MedTech/medical device or other regulated manufacturing environments , along with proven leadership in sourcing, supplier negotiations, ERP/MRP, inventory optimization, and multi-site operations. Key Responsibilities Lead purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, inventory, warehouse, and logistics activities across Kansas and New Jersey. Develop domestic and global sourcing strategies for electronic components, PCB assemblies, fabricated metals, injection-molded plastics, packaging, and other direct materials. Negotiate supplier pricing, contracts, payment terms, lead times, and supply commitments. Develop supplier scorecards, performance reviews, escalation processes, and risk-mitigation strategies. Drive dual sourcing, supplier development, cost reduction, lead-time reduction, and supply continuity. Manage material shortages, supplier constraints, delivery risks, and customer-impacting issues. Establish inventory strategies covering safety stock, reorder points, inventory turns, excess/obsolete inventory, and working capital. Maintain ERP/MRP planning parameters and purchasing controls. Oversee receiving, warehouse operations, cycle counts, inventory accuracy, shipping, freight, and logistics. Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, NPI, Program Management, and Finance. Support NPI, product transfers, prototype sourcing, and transition-to-production activities. Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and applicable quality-system requirements . Lead, coach, and develop buyers, warehouse, and logistics personnel across multiple locations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 10+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, sourcing, materials, logistics, or operations experience in manufacturing. 5+ years of people leadership experience. Experience in medical device, electronics, contract manufacturing, life sciences, aerospace, or another regulated environment strongly preferred. Strong supplier negotiation and supplier-performance management experience. Experience developing global/domestic sourcing and supplier-risk strategies. Strong ERP/MRP, inventory planning, shortage management, cycle-counting, and warehouse experience. NPI, product transfer, prototype sourcing, or transition-to-production experience preferred. Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA-regulated manufacturing, or ISO 9001 preferred.
