Job Title: Supply Chain DirectorOverview We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and forward-thinking Supply Chain Director to lead the organization’s supply chain functions with precision and operational expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee supply chain planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships. Your leadership will drive operational efficiency, optimize resource utilization, strengthen supplier performance, and support sustainable business growth. This role offers an opportunity to improve supply chain processes, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and establish scalable operational standards across the organization. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business objectives, improve efficiency, and strengthen long-term operational performance. Supply Chain Management: Oversee supply chain planning, procurement coordination, inventory control, logistics, and distribution activities to ensure reliable and efficient operations. Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, evaluate supplier performance, and support negotiations to achieve favorable commercial terms. Cost and Budget Management: Monitor supply chain expenditures, manage departmental budgets, analyze operating costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimization. Process Optimization: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain workflows, improve inventory accuracy, and enhance delivery performance. Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain disruptions, assess operational risks, and develop contingency plans to maintain business continuity. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, finance, operations, sales, and project management teams to align supply chain activities with organizational priorities. Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory turnover, supplier performance, order fulfillment, delivery reliability, and supply chain costs. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain personnel while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, operations management, or a related field. Leadership Track Record: Demonstrated experience managing supply chain teams, coordinating suppliers, and overseeing complex procurement, inventory, and logistics activities. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field required. An MBA or relevant Master’s degree is highly preferred. Supply Chain Expertise: Strong understanding of procurement processes, demand planning, inventory management, supplier performance evaluation, and logistics coordination. Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze supply chain costs, evaluate operational performance, and implement cost-control strategies. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to identify operational challenges and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
