Job Summary The Supply Chain Data Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining KPI dashboards, analyzing demand trends and forecast accuracy, updating master data, and evaluating inventory levels to align with customer demand, inventory targets, manufacturing capacity, and overall business objectives. This role collaborates closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Customer Service teams to support efficient production planning, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights that improve operational performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Demand and Supply Analysis Analyze demand trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory levels to support planning and operational decisions. Collaborate with Demand Planning and Sales teams to validate demand requirements and forecasts. Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. Evaluate supply risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions. Monitor inventory health and recommend actions to improve inventory turns while reducing excess and obsolete inventory. Capacity Planning Analyze manufacturing capacity, labor availability, and material constraints. Recommend capacity adjustments to support business growth and customer demand requirements. Support long-range planning through scenario analysis and capacity modeling. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Develop and maintain planning reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track: Production performance Schedule attainment Service levels Inventory metrics Forecast accuracy Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership. Support new product introductions, product transitions, and end-of-life planning activities. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, data quality, and system functionality. Recommend and support implementation of process improvements that enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness. Required Qualifications Strong problem-solving, analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing changing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced computer proficiency, including: Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query) Microsoft Word Microsoft Access Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP, i2 Production Scheduler, MES, and/or other production planning applications. Experience working in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or operations environments. Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
