This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position based at our Kitchener office. About AGF Since 1948, AGF has played a key role in the supply and installation of reinforcing steel, with over 50,000 projects completed across the country and beyond. We’ve contributed to major construction projects such as the light-rail transit in Toronto, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and the SickKids Research Institute. About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include: Manage inventory: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor material movements and usage, and ensure transactions are recorded correctly. Perform inventory counts & audits: Conduct daily spot checks, monthly physical counts, and regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies. Ensure material accuracy & traceability: Verify quantities, tagging, identification, and traceability of materials from receiving through production and shipping. Coordinate materials: Work with purchasing, receiving, production, shipping, and warehouse teams to manage incoming materials, transfers, and inventory requirements. Track & report: Prepare inventory reports, document variances and adjustments, and flag issues that could impact production or shipping. Support continuous improvement & safety: Identify inventory risks, reduce material losses, follow established procedures, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. About You - The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: 2-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the steel, rebar, construction, or metal fabrication industry is considered an asset. Strong understanding of inventory control procedures, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP or inventory management systems. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What we offer: The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
