Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Title: Logistics/Materials Coordinator Pay Rate: $21/hr Duration: 12 months Location: Wichita, KS Shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM This position is for the Power/Energy division. We are looking for a Logistics/Materials Coordinator. Monitor project material and product availability and identify potential supply or delivery risks. Maintain accurate logistics -related master data, order information, supplier information, and delivery schedules. Coordinate with suppliers and procurement personnel to obtain current status and resolve information gaps. Work with transportation and logistics service providers to monitor shipments and address operational issues. Prepare and distribute material availability, deficiency, delivery, and logistics status reports. Complete and communicate deficiency and status reports regarding material and product availability for Project Logistics Management (PLM). Documents and processes complaints and transport damages in cooperation with accountable stakeholders, including PLM, Purchasing , Insurance, Controlling, Quality, and Engineering. Proposes and implements remedial measures with transport service providers. Coordinates the return of logistics infrastructure and on-site equipment used for projects, supporting PLM and steering related logistics operations with service providers. Supports PLM in the development, calculation, and implementation of logistics contingency measures. Supports PLM in concluding project evaluations and advancing project-specific customer supply processes. Review changing logistics conditions and recommend practical alternatives when schedules or supply conditions are disrupted. Collaborate with Project Logistics Management , Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Insurance, and Controlling as needed. Assist with project logistics reviews and help identify opportunities to improve customer supply processes. Requirements: 2+ years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain , materials management, transportation , project logistics, or a closely related discipline; Master's-level entry candidates may also be considered based on the client's stated requirements. Demonstrated experience monitoring material availability, order status, inventory/stock information , or delivery schedules. Hands-on experience coordinating with suppliers, Procurement/Purchasing, carriers, freight providers, 3PLs , or other logistics service providers. Experience preparing logistics , material availability, deficiency, delivery , or operational status reports . Ability to investigate logistics disruptions and contribute to corrective actions and contingency solutions. Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. Ability to manage changing priorities and work on non-routine logistics assignments with appropriate independence. Experience in an industrial, engineering, infrastructure, Power/Energy, or other project-based environment is preferred. Experience handling transportation damage, freight issues, complaints, supplier evaluation, or logistics tender activities is a plus. Familiarity with ERP, supply-chain, inventory, transportation, or logistics-management systems is preferred. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred
