Supply Chain Coordinator

Small details drive good quotes. We need someone who catches them. As our Supply Chain Coordinator, you will report to the Operations Manager. You will turn customer requests into accurate quotes we can win. You'll learn our fastener products and our import and domestic vendors, and work closely with Sales, Operations, and Purchasing. What You'll Do Build accurate quotes: take quote sheets from Sales and determine the full cost of goods, including freight, secondary operations, and every other step in the quoting process. Learn our products and vendors: become our in-house expert on our fastener products and our import and domestic suppliers. Work closely with Sales: check prints, specifications and customer requirements with the sales team so every quote is right the first time. Review vendors: research new vendors and review approved ones on product quality, delivery times and pricing. Know the numbers: learn our internal computer system and how it ties to inventory and cost. Work with leadership: work with the V.P. of Operations and the Import Purchaser on sourcing decisions. Keep quote records: maintain completed quote sheets, and scan and save them to our cloud database. Grow with the role: take on new duties as you build your skills.
