Supply Chain Co-op Student (Winter 2027)
4AG RoboticsAbout Us At 4AG Robotics, we’re wired for solving tough problems - and mushroom harvesting with robots is about as tough as it gets. We solve the critical labour shortage for farms by building robots that pick, trim and pack mushrooms. We are a team of builders that like to move fast and embrace the uncertain process of innovation - because every breakthrough comes with a few mistakes along the way. If you love tech, thrive on innovation, and have a passion for building and bringing it to life in the real world in a commercial space, you’ll find your spot here. Join us and help reshape the future of farming with grit, brains, and a team that gets things done. The Opportunity Join 4AG Robotics for your next co-op or internship term and help shape the future of agricultural automation. As part of our Supply Chain team, you’ll help make sure the right parts and materials are available at the right time to keep our robots moving from design to production and into the field. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory, and manufacturing operations. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, purchasing, and suppliers in a fast-paced environment where your work has a direct impact on how efficiently we build and deliver our robots. What You’ll Do Support purchasing and procurement activities, including requesting quotes, placing purchase orders, and following up with suppliers. Help maintain accurate inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excess inventory. Work with suppliers to track orders, lead times, delivery dates, and quality issues. Support material planning and ensure parts are available when needed for production and assembly. Help improve supply chain processes, systems, and documentation. Analyze purchasing, inventory, and supplier data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with engineering and production teams to understand material requirements and resolve supply issues. Assist with inventory counts, organization, and accuracy across the warehouse and production areas. Support supplier research and help identify new sourcing opportunities. Assist with projects focused on reducing costs, improving lead times, and increasing supply chain efficiency. What Success Looks Like You take ownership of your work and follow things through from start to finish. You help keep materials moving and identify potential supply issues before they become production problems. You use data to make informed decisions and find ways to improve how we work. You communicate clearly with suppliers and internal teams. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
