Responsibilities:

  • Pick orders from stores for delivery to all internal and external customers
  • Load, unload and move materials within the facility
  • Cycle counting inventory
  • Read work orders and follow oral instructions to determine what requires movement
  • Open containers using various hand tools
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
  • Count, weigh, and record numbers of units of materials moved or handled on a daily basis
  • Perform all work in accordance with Health and Safety policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to read instructions and labels
  • Strong customer service focus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Material handling experience in a manufacturing environment, considered an asset
