Advanced Bio-Logic Solutions Corp.MCS Supply Chain Associate Location: Hybrid - New Albany, OH Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2) Contract Length: 8 months Compensation: $27/$31 per hour (based on experience) Summary of the Role Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader as an MCS Supply Chain Associate supporting procurement and inventory management activities for the onsite Supply Chain team in New Albany, OH. This role focuses on order placement, vendor follow-up, purchase order management, inventory coordination, and process improvement to help ensure reliable availability of components, packaging materials, and raw materials. This is a strong opportunity for recent graduates with a relevant business or supply chain degree who are looking to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations within a biotech manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Procure printed materials, packaging components, and raw materials in alignment with supply chain needs Place, expedite, and negotiate orders with suppliers Resolve receiving issues, invoice discrepancies, and purchasing-related concerns Evaluate and process purchase requisitions according to company policies Manage purchase orders, vendor-managed inventory, and supply agreements Monitor, update, and follow up on open orders Support moderate-complexity projects and identify cost savings opportunities Maintain purchasing documentation in accordance with cGMP standards Support audit readiness for purchase orders and related records Monitor, coordinate, and process goods returns Track, analyze, and communicate operational metrics and performance Respond to and help resolve supply chain issues as they arise Qualifications Familiarity with procurement, purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain processes Ability to organize, analyze, and communicate data and operational metrics Strong follow-up skills and ability to communicate across functions Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving ability Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Ability to support purchase order management, vendor follow-up, and supply fulfillment activities Ability to work in a hybrid role supporting New Albany, OH operations Preferred: Recent graduate with a relevant business or supply chain-related degree 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or inventory management No more than 3 years of experience preferred Exposure to biotech, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated supply chain environments Top 3 Must Have Skills Organized Self-starter Strong communication and follow-up skills Day-to-Day Responsibilities Issue purchase orders and follow up with vendors on open orders Support procurement of components, packaging materials, and raw materials Monitor order status and help ensure timely supply availability Resolve receiving, invoice, and purchasing discrepancies Consolidate shipments to help maximize transportation savings Track vendor performance and supply fulfillment Maintain purchasing records and documentation Analyze operational metrics and communicate updates to stakeholders Support process improvements and cost savings opportunities Ready to support procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations for a global biotech organization?
