Role Description The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Redford, MI. This role oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers and carriers, monitoring stock levels, optimizing logistics routes, and ensuring on-time delivery to internal and external stakeholders. The manager analyzes data to improve cost efficiency, lead times, and service levels, and implements policies that support safety, compliance, and operational excellence. This position also collaborates with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance, and sales to align supply chain activities with business goals and support continuous improvement. Qualifications Experience managing supply chain, logistics, and inventory operations in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Proficiency with ERP or supply chain management systems and strong skills in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and distribution best practices, including carrier management and route optimization. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail and process improvement. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead teams and work with cross-functional stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are a plus. Ability to work on-site in Redford, MI and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
