Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, creating dashboards, and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This role focuses on KPI monitoring, predictive analysis, and supporting cross-functional teams with reporting and insights.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret datasets to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) to track KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turns, and labor productivity.
  • Use SQL queries and Excel models to extract and manipulate supply chain data.
  • Support demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and cost analysis.
  • Recommend process improvements based on findings.
  • Ensure timely delivery of ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and maintain data accuracy.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, analytics, or related fields required.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in data/supply chain analytics.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI.
  • Familiarity with forecasting and predictive analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical Demands:

  • The employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies or equipment, up to 25 pounds, may be required.

 

Work Environment:

  • The work environment is typically an office setting with regular use of computers and office equipment.
  • Fast-paced, requiring adaptability to shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Minimal travel is required for this position, though travel to company offices or other sites may occur.

 

Equipment Used:

  • Personal computers, printers, copiers, and other standard office equipment.
  • Data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
