Supply Chain Analyst
ClinLab Solutions GroupSummary: The Supply Chain Analyst provides financial and analytical support to operations and business leadership, focusing on budget management, expenditure monitoring, and process improvement within the supply chain function. Responsibilities: Coordinate and develop operating and capital expenditure budgets for supply chain activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and analyze expenditures, perform data analysis, and forecast operational costs to support business decisions. Review, audit, and validate expenditures for payment authorization, managing cost center spending and ensuring compliance with guidelines. Support invoice booking processes, end-of-month cost allocation, and cross-charging of expenses to maintain accurate financial records. Conduct monthly variance analysis, create performance dashboards, and communicate financial results to stakeholders as needed. Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement, supplier performance, and inventory management. Review contracts, negotiate rates and charges with service providers, and assess contract terms to identify financial implications and risks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support ad hoc analytics requests, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and business partners. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; technical field preferred. 2-5 years of related experience in budget management or finance. Understanding of supply chain operations, third-party vendors, and 3PLs. Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables. Ability to analyze large data sets and extract key insights over extended periods. ERP experience, particularly with SAP, is valued. Data mining and/or SQL skills preferred. Experience in pharmaceuticals, branded products, or the food/beverage industry preferred.
