Supply Chain Analyst

Global Gourmet Foods is a division of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (TSX: PBH) which is a high-growth specialty soup manufacturer with industry-leading kettle process and innovative product offerings. Global Gourmet Foods has two CFIA inspected manufacturing facilities in Richmond and Surrey, with a new warehouse in Delta. We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the various aspects of the supply chain operations, including order desk, customer service, purchasing, logistics, and inventory management. Duties & Responsibilities: Collect data on supply chain and operations Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency and develop actionable insights from data Data analysis and reporting related to the activities of the supply chain, e.g. inventory, order fulfillment, logistics handling, etc. Participating in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency Establish and maintain relationship with shippers and vendors Assess vendor operations and enforce compliance with quality standards and the supplier’s code of conduct. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including material planning, purchasing, logistics, and production, to ensure seamless coordination Assisting in the arrangement of logistics and the relevant documentation Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications & Requirements: Completion of university and/or college degree in relation to supply chain management and logistics is preferred Proven knowledge of inventory management Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills In-depth knowledge of mathematical and logical reasoning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the team Ability to work beyond regular scheduled hours when necessary Ability to work independently with a minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment while managing tasks effectively in a team environment Competitive salary and wages are negotiable depending on experience.
