Job Summary SMSI is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support and enhance the efficiency of our end‑to‑end supply chain operations. This role will contribute to the development of strategic plans that improve overall performance, effectiveness, and quality. The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the bid and award cycle, maintaining accurate forecasts, and monitoring post‑award progress through delivery. This position works closely with procurement, expediting, supplier quality, and delivery management to drive alignment and support organizational objectives across the supply chain. This role is in located Oak Ridge, TN, and is onsite. Responsibilities Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement Create and maintain planning reports, dashboards, and documentation Support purchase order creation, follow-up, and tracking with suppliers Work closely with expediting and delivery teams to ensure timely production and delivery Identify potential supply chain disruptions and help develop mitigation strategies Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Maintain accurate data in planning and ERP systems Assist Supply Chain Management by generating reporting tools and maintaining a dashboard of key metrics Required Skills/ Abilities Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Proficiency with Excel; experience with ERP or planning systems is a plus Proficiency with AI data tools Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment Desired Skills Knowledge of supply chain principles, forecasting methods, and general reporting practices associated with supply chain activities Experience with data analysis or reporting tools Education Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field 0–2 years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, operations, or an internship in a related area Equal Opportunity Employer Strategic Management Solutions, LLC (SMSI) is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer; all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
