The Materials Management Analyst acquires and analyzes data needed to optimize processes and procedures for the Materials Management department, and implements these processes and procedures as directed by department leadership. Minimum Qualifications o Education o Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent experience in supply chain data analytics o Credentials o State Required: None. o GPH Required/Preferred: none A current motor vehicle operator's license required. Physical Demands 1. Stand and/or walk occasionally. 2. Sit frequently. 3. Push and/or pull 100 pounds occasionally . 4. Bend occasionally. 5. Eye hand coordination and visual acuity within normal limits. 6. Carry 50 lbs 30 feet frequently. 7. Reach floor to above shoulders frequently. Essential Functions 1. Design and implement methods to gather and manage supply chain data 2. Review and analyze gathered data and propose methods to improve material master data, methods and costs 3. Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects using models and best practices 4. Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain, including inventory control, sales, purchasing, quality, and configuration management 5. Communicate with other departments and locations within the organization to identify efficiency issues and recommend solutions 6. Participate as an active member of the Purchasing team 7. Present progress, findings, and recommendations to department leadership 8. Contribute expertise to definition and optimization of department procedures
