The Siemon CompanyPosted: October 2, 2026 Location: Watertown, CT, United States Position Purpose Lead the Supply and Demand Planning organization by developing the people, processes, systems, and performance measures necessary to achieve world-class planning results. Drive continuous improvement in inventory performance, material availability, service levels, forecast accuracy and operating margin through effective planning practices and use of Oracle ASCP and related planning tools. Develop planning leadership capability, establish planning best practices, and partner with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to improve business processes, planning system effectiveness, and organizational performance. Qualifications and Experience Essential Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, math, engineering or related field. 7+ years’ experience in supply chain planning, materials management, demand planning, inventory management, or related disciplines, including leadership responsibility. Proficiency with ERP/MRP, query tools, Microsoft Office, and AI-enabled business tools. Strong understanding of planning systems, planning parameters, and the relationship between master data, system configuration, and planning outcomes. Understanding of supply chain concepts, lean manufacturing, inventory management and production systems Excellent communication skills with ability to work with international teams. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage teams, set priorities and drive results. Preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle ASCP, including planning parameters, sourcing rules, lead times, item attributes, master-data dependencies, and reporting tools such as Oracle Analytics. APICS CSCP or CPIM certification Skills Strong analytical, business and leadership capabilities. Strong functional skills in Oracle ASCP, planning system setups, automation, including the ability to identify configuration or master-data issues affecting planning results. Ability to use AI tools effectively and responsibly for analysis, scenario development, reporting, and process improvement, with appropriate validation, data security, and governance. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels and across teams. Specific Responsibilities Own the performance management framework, including KPI definitions, targets, reporting mechanisms, governance process and performance review cadence. Ensure planning performance is measured consistently and effectively across the organization. Own planning performance outcomes and drive continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and bias, inventory health, span, material availability, planning adherence, and on-time performance. Lead corrective actions and drive internal accountability. Establish planning standards, policies, and best practices across the demand and supply/material planning functions. Hold the team accountable for training, process adherence, execution quality, and continuous improvement, using KPI performance and process assessments to measure effectiveness. Develop and implement supply chain strategies that deliver optimized cost and service levels. Lead the development and effective use of Oracle, Oracle ASCP, planning configurations, analytics, and user training to improve planning quality, productivity, and business performance.
