Supplier Quality Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing Olney, Texas | Full-Time | On-Site Salary: $130,000–$150,000 + 40% annual bonus paid quarterly Relocation Assistance Available | Travel Up to 50% Henpen Consultants is recruiting a Supplier Quality Manager for a confidential, growing aerospace manufacturer. Reporting to the Vice President of Quality, this leader will build and manage the supplier quality program, strengthen supplier performance, and reduce supplier-related quality costs. This hands-on opportunity combines program development, supplier audits, corrective action, and collaboration with suppliers ranging from small businesses to major aerospace manufacturers. Key Responsibilities Establish supplier quality policies, procedures, and performance systems. Develop supplier scorecards, quality metrics, and accountability programs. Lead supplier audits, qualification activities, and risk assessments. Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and verify effective resolution. Help suppliers improve manufacturing quality and address recurring problems. Establish processes to recover supplier-related quality costs. Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to improve supplier performance. Analyze quality trends and reduce incoming defects and supplier parts-per-million (PPM) rates. Prioritize improvement efforts for high-risk and underperforming suppliers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field. 7+ years of supplier quality experience. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards and supplier management practices. Experience with supplier audits, corrective actions, and performance improvement. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work on-site in Olney, Texas, and travel up to 50%.
